Papaya Medium Flow Menstrual Pad Trial Pack of 6 – Papaya Blood-Solidifying Pads Skip to content
Papaya Blood-Solidifying Pads

What is blood coagulation?

Papaya pads don’t just absorb—they coagulate menstrual blood. This means:

  • The blood clots inside the pad, reducing wetness and feeling “ick-free”
  • It stays dry to the touch, preventing leaks and discomfort.
  • Less moisture = less odor and fewer bacterial infections.
  • Plastic is great at absorbing, by using Coagulation technology we can avoid using plastics and provide a safe and super comfortable experience without compromise.
Plastic-Free
Compostable
Phthalate-Free
Soft and Breathable
Nontoxic and Safe

So, what's inside them?

How to Use

Peel the back strip and stick the pad onto your underwear. The wings help secure it in place. Change every 4-6 hours or as needed.

Thank you for making such good pads! As an eco-vegan, I highly appreciate your initiative (3.8 rating), but I would like to suggest a few adjustments.First, please update your sizing: the Low Flow pads' size needs to be similar to what the Medium Flow pads currently have. Then, the Medium size should have the size of Heavy Flow pads, and the Heavy Flow pads' size needs to be increased even further. Additionally, the back end should be significantly widened and increased across all pad sizes for better coverage.Second, your natural claims are compromised by the adhesive. While the pad is free from fragrances and chlorine, it uses a synthetic pressure-sensitive glue on the back sheet. Because it uses man-made chemical polymers, it is not 100% chemical-free. Additionally, even though the plant fibers biodegrade within 8 months, the chemical adhesive residue does not enrich the earth. It leaves trace synthetic elements, failing to be completely safe for the soil microbial ecosystem. Please replace this adhesive to truly be planet-safe! I am suggesting this strictly for our Mother Earth, Trees, Animals, and Plants... 💚 Only because of the adhesive part it scores less, otherwise, your pads are a perfect 100/100 for our planet, trust me!

The size and fitting is perfect...the only problem is adhesive need to be more stronge

The ending part of the pad can be made a little longer and also it sticks to the pad itself even after taking care it still sticks so if its comparatively longer than it can be sticked well on the garment. Else its great and eco-friendly! Thank you!

Absolutely loved these organic menstrual pads! They are super soft, incredibly absorbent, and really comfortable. I’m especially proud of the young woman behind this brand for creating such a wonderful and sustainable alternative. Reusable period panties can sometimes retain bacteria or develop odour if not washed and sun-dried properly, so these pads are a great option.

Highly Highly recommend! ❤️

I would give this pad 3.5 stars.

The feel of the pad is great. It feels very soft and comfy. However, there are a couple of things that need to be improved.

1) The glue that attaches the pad to your undies is very strong. So, when you peel it off at the end of the day to dispose it, the backing sticks to your undies and tears the rest of the pad and the contents of the pad spills out.

2) The way the glue is structured makes it feel like tearing a sticker and sticking it onto your pad. The problem with this is that the wings and the back have one long sticker backing. This makes it very hard to keep the wings from folding in on itself/sticking to the back of the pad. In other pads on the market, the glue on the backing and the glue on the wings are kept secure with two different sheets of paper and that is a better design as it allows people to stick the back on first before attaching the wings to the pad.

Both these issues happened with every single one of my pads. I personally love the different size options and appreciate the length and coverage offered by the XXL pad. I can definitely see that the pad is well made. Thanks!

Hi Subashri, thank you for your very candid review!
We have made improvements to the glue, and it should work better now. We are still making further improvements - the biodegradable backsheet is breathable, which means that it's not as strong as typical plastic, but we will get it fixed in the next few months as we hone in on the right formulations. We want to keep the breathability intact while we do this.

For the release liner - this is also something we will incorporate - separate liners for the wings and the back like you mention and this should take care of the folding on itself sticking to itself issue.

Thank you for your engagement and trust!

We will send you an improved version once its ready!
Best,
Shagun

Great initiative. Truly makes me guilt free knowing that I am not using plastics. That said- you do need to change the pad every 3-4 hours. Could be slightly more absorbent I feel. Would 100% recommend to women around me

Hi! Thank you so much for the review. I'm glad the pads worked well for you. We will definitely have more absorbency variants added over the next coming months! Do reach out if we can do anything else to make the experience better :D

The pads were soft. Not itchy. They hold the flow well. The only issue I had was the paper that was holding the adhesive. It wasdifficult to rip off with one hand.

Cons :The pad was lacking in firmness and was too flimsy once worn, it bunches up in between and ended up leaking. The backing baper also rips very easily while removing and ends up being of no use while disposing. The disposal envelope could do well with some adhesive.

Pros: Light feel, almost to the point I didnt feel I was wearing any, good odour control and quick absorbency.
