What is our pad made of?

Organic cotton and cellulose for softness and breathability.
A patent-pending biocoagulant that dries the blood.
A biodegradable backsheet that prevents leaks without plastic.

Is it really completely plastic-free?

Yes! Unlike most pads that contain up to 90% plastic, Papaya pads use zero plastics. No plastic absorbents, no plastic backsheet, and no synthetic chemicals. Just natural, biodegradable materials.

Why is it healthier?

Most commercial pads contain plastics, fragrances, and chemicals that can cause rashes, itching, and irritation. Some of these chemicals are also endocrine-disrupting (EDCs), which can affect hormones and reproductive health. Papaya pads don’t contain any EDCs, plastics, or harmful chemicals. Our pads use a naturalbiocoagulant, cotton, cellulose, and a biodegradable back sheet to keep you dry without toxins.

How to Use

Peel the back strip and stick the pad onto your underwear. The wings help secure it in place. Change every 4-6 hours or as needed.

How to dispose

Every pad is wrapped in a biodegradable disposal wrapper. Wrap the used pad in the wrapper and toss it in the bin. It will naturally degrade even in a landfill in 8 months, unlike plastic pads that sit in landfills for centuries.

Thank you for making such good pads! As an eco-vegan, I highly appreciate your initiative (3.8 rating), but I would like to suggest a few adjustments.First, please update your sizing: the Low Flow pads' size needs to be similar to what the Medium Flow pads currently have. Then, the Medium size should have the size of Heavy Flow pads, and the Heavy Flow pads' size needs to be increased even further. Additionally, the back end should be significantly widened and increased across all pad sizes for better coverage.Second, your natural claims are compromised by the adhesive. While the pad is free from fragrances and chlorine, it uses a synthetic pressure-sensitive glue on the back sheet. Because it uses man-made chemical polymers, it is not 100% chemical-free. Additionally, even though the plant fibers biodegrade within 8 months, the chemical adhesive residue does not enrich the earth. It leaves trace synthetic elements, failing to be completely safe for the soil microbial ecosystem.Please replace this adhesive to truly be planet-safe! I am suggesting this strictly for our Mother Earth, Trees, Animals, and Plants... 💚 Only because of the adhesive part it scores less, otherwise, your pads are a perfect 100/100 for our planet, trust me!

No skin irritation , and particularly no smell at all , no leakages

The wings should have seperate sticker. Otherwise it gets stick abruptly if it's the same sticker

Overall amazing, leakage protection, rash and irritation free , thin pads so it feels like you are not wearing any pad , completely satisfied with the product.
