Let’s start with the basics. What even is this pad?

Papaya's pads feel like you aren't even wearing a pad!

Instead of pads that feel plasticky and wet - Papaya’s pads are dry and soft to the touch.

They’re made of: 

  • Cotton and cellulose (which makes them breathable and soft),
  • A natural bio-coagulant (fancy word for something that dries/solidifies/clots the blood, not just absorbs it).
  • And a biodegradable backsheet (no plastic here, boss)

So, I shouldn't want fragrance in a pad?

Did you know that our vaginal tissue is more absorbent than our skin? Like 10 times more!

When pads use fragrance chemicals, these irritate our skin, and get absorbed into our blood stream through our vaginal tissue.

These chemicals can mess with our vaginal pH, spoiling our microbiome and the good bacteria naturally supposed to be there.

Fragrances, phthalates and PSAs have endocrine disruptors. This deteriorates endocrine and hormonal health.
